As a food truck, they are simply best.
Their BBQ’d meats are better than any bbq spot I’ve ever been to in the country.
Each of their sides could rival national food chains best in class.
And if that wasn’t enough, their specials continue to amaze me. Today’s special was a Smoked Pastrami Reuben and I couldn’t eat it fast enough!
I’ll follow Slow Fire anywhere they go!

We were visiting from MN and asked our waitress what barbecue she recommended for first-time visitors. She recommended we look up Slow Fire on socials and find their truck—good ~GOD~ are we glad we did. Easily some of the best brisket and ribs we have EVER had. We talked about that dinner for weeks-even months!-after. The staff were so sweet and welcoming. We are considering a trip back to Savannah solely so we can eat here again. Thanks so much 🍖

The absolute best BBQ in Savannah, and best I have had outside of Texas. Highly recommend getting their Board to try everything they offer. All of the sides are absolutely incredible as well!

Best barbeque I've had yet. Mind-blowing detail on every single dish. Smorgasbord platter slaps. Brisket done to perfection with utopian bark, pork belly melts in your mouth, turkey is insanely juicy, and pulled pork is flawless in seasoning and tenderness. I'd knock my grandma down the stairs for another round of those brussel sprouts. I don't know what's happening with that mac-n-cheese, but it's worth it's weight in gold. Corn and slaw are good enough to be their own currency. I came, I ate, I laughed, I cried.

I am from North Central Texas and a bit of a BBQ snob, this is top 2-3 BBQ I’ve ever had!
Meats are perfect, sides are amazing as well. I tried all of it and even the pickles/onion stand out.
Everything is from scratch, owner is a trained chef and it shows. So much care and every detail down to the wood (TX Post oak trucked in just for him). Owner is awesome and will talk to you about his process as long as he has time to talk.
If you want a break from SE pulled pork this is the place to go, absolute perfection. Do not sleep on this place!

Best brisket I’ve ever had, hands down. We tried all the sides and I can’t even pick a favorite. Everything was amazing. Pickles and pickled red onions? Shut up, over the top! Lovely people, outstanding food.
